Fabric Painting
Koi Fish. 40x 40 cm. Made into a cushion.
Experimenting using fabric paint to 'hand dye' plain calico fabric.
Fabric in plastic bags to absorb as much paint as possible. Scrunched up to create texture and variegation in colour.
Fabric drying in the sun. As the paint dried some colour became lighter. Created a tie dye look.
Final fabrics. Heat set with an iron.
